Most scanners are supported in Linspire. To use a scanner, you will need to install Kooka via the Warehouse. This will add a program to your computer which will allow many of the most popular scanners to scan and perform OCR (see list of known supported scanners below although others may work as well). To install Kooka, click on the Click-N-Run icon, search for Kooka and then click on the green install icon. Once it is installed, click on the Kooka icon on your desktop and select the Settings menu to select your scanner model.
